Consistency definitely increases audience size, if that’s what you’re into. From comments and emails, I know people want more frequent videos from me, but I’m not letting that be a guiding pressure.

I wonder if, for me, my work has a circadian rhythm closer to a novel. I’ll disappear for months and then reappear with something new and disappear. Personally, I like that approach (I admire people like Don Hertzfeld who do it). The other option is the stock/flow approach, which I experimented with but ultimately found was a distraction from what I do.
